There are some many activities to do when you are not in the villa, a holiday on Koh phangan can be action packed with a full schedule of watersports and jungle treks. Although its noce to spend the day in the up at the house in the pool, why not rent a snorkel down on the beach and explore the underwater world. Haad Salad has some great reefs and gear for rent can be found along the beach in varoius shop houses, take the whole family snorkelling.The house in the middle of the bay has a good selction of watersports equipment for rent. Rental equipment is a good idea if your not sure how much you will enjoy it, they can also be brough at the many dive shops around Koh Phangan.

Jungle drive

Another great day out from the villas is to rent a car and drive to Thong Nai Pan which is on the other side of the Isand to the villas at Dee Dee, so take a break from the pool and go for a drive through the lush jungle interior of Phangan.

Go diving

There are many dive schools on the Island so diving is a option, there are monkey shows and elelphant treks, cooking schools and yoga centers. There is really something for everyone on Ko phangan. In Thong Sala there are many shop houses selling all kinds of souveniers to take home from Kho Phangan

Elephant Trekking

One of the popular activities is elephant trekking which can be done in many parts of the island. There is a camp near Ko Ma, one just out side of chaloklum and one onthe way to Thong Nai pan. The elephants are kept in good shape and feel free to look around where they live. Its high up on the elephants so the views over the island from the two camps in the north are fantastic. Ok so its nice to relax in the pool villa but sometimes you might wish to get out and taking an elephant ride is an organised trek ideal for a family on holiday, so get out of the house, jump into the rental car and get on down to the elephant camp.
